Our executive Chef leads our team and says:

Head Cook
As Head Cook, you are the ambassador for Good Food in our Home. We look to you to provide a high quality and efficient food and beverage service to Residents including the provision of special diets where required and to ensure the cleanliness and smooth running of the kitchen areas.
Deputy Cook
As Deputy Cook you create and deliver nutritious and delicious food for our residents. Part of your role is to manage an efficient catering service within the Home supporting and assisting the Head Cook in the day-to-day management of the kitchen.
Supper Cook
To assist in the preparation and cooking of food following menus already prepared by the Head Cook. Supervise and help train junior staff. Take personal responsibly in becoming fully aware of health and safety and other procedures.
Kitchen Assistant
To provide a support service to the cooks; facilitating the hygienic provision of food for service-users and maintaining a clean, tidy kitchen environment.
Steward
As a Steward you are a vital component in making mealtimes something special for residents. As well as serving meals and beverages to residents, you ensure the efficient running of each of the Home kitchens.
We provide on-the-job training to help you develop your career and you’ll be working alongside colleagues with different strengths and personalities who all share the same commitment to care.
