The Radbrook Reputation

For over 30 years, Radbrook has been renowned for the excellent care it has provided along with the warmth and kindness of its staff. We have been investing in the building and grounds, extending and upgrading all areas, and feedback from our residents and their families has been lovely to receive. We have also been busy creating beautiful landscaped garden areas where residents enjoy safe, private and elegant outdoor space.

The latest news at Radbrook is that we have now opened Cherry Trees, a new household for residents living with dementia. It has been carefully designed and decorated to provide a safe haven for memory care, with 14 en-suite bedrooms leading to lovely themed areas for socialising and relaxation.

A bright and spacious dining room has been created and decorated to resemble the original Morris Café which sat at the top of Pride Hill and which, in its day, was renowned for its afternoon tea dances and the best cakes and service in town. Here, afternoon tea will be served to bring back happy memories for residents, along with a number of lively events including food demonstrations.

Gallery walls feature familiar scenes such as family holidays on the South coast, as well as nostalgic images of original Morris stores’ advertising from the 1930s. These areas are designed to help residents reminisce, with walks down memory lane to provide sensory stimulation.
