About Our Home

We are situated just one mile from the centre of Bridgnorth Town Centre. We're lucky to be placed in the Shropshire countryside but just a short drive from shops, restaurants and tourist hotspots.

We provide quality general nursing care for the elderly frail and for those who require convalescence, palliative or dementia care.

We have 69 beautifully decorated bedrooms, a dedicated area committed to providing specialist dementia care, a peaceful conservatory, relaxing lounges and beautiful views of the Shropshire countryside.

Care Comes First

Oldbury Grange offers high quality dementia care with a holistic approach. The specialist dementia area, The Rowans, brings to life the Morris Care Cedar Philosophy, which focuses on an individual’s wellbeing and personal needs, as well as their nursing requirements.

The Cedar Philosophy aims to reduce anxiety and stress and can lead to real therapeutic benefits. This pioneering thinking uses a range of innovative and creative ideas tailored to each individual’s needs, medical background and life story.

One Dedicated Team

What sets us apart from everyone else is the quality of our care. Highly trained care teams go the extra mile every day to ensure our residents are well looked after and are able to continue living fulfilling lives, where their dignity is respected and independence nurtured.

Social Activities

Social wellbeing plays a huge part in the care we provide at Oldbury Grange. Our enthusiastic and committed Social Life Co-Ordinators, Mandy and Kim, have vast experience in providing a diverse and exciting activity schedule. From Lindy Hop dancers, visits from the Exotic Zoo, to Rock ‘n’ Roll afternoons, WWII Summer Fetes and day trips out, every day is different at Oldbury Grange.

Social interaction and activities like these are all aimed at stimulating the mind, combatting loneliness and unlocking fond memories.

Social Life Co-Ordinator, Mandy, truly loves her job at Oldbury Grange:

"I'm not sure how many people out there truly love going to work every day, but I know I am one of them. I feel so privileged to be in this role and to work alongside such a great team."
