Oldbury Grange, Bridgnorth, Shropshire

Situated just one mile from the centre of Bridgnorth, Oldbury Grange is a nursing home that provides quality short and long term care for the elderly and mentally frail.

Our nursing home offers delightful rooms with high quality furnishings with most offering pleasant and restful views.

Oldbury Grange also provides care for those living with all forms of dementia.

The Rowans brings to life our Cedar Philosophy, focusing on an individual’s wellbeing and personal needs, as well as their nursing requirements.

The Cedar approach aims to reduce anxiety and stress, and can lead to real therapeutic benefits. In many cases this can mean a reduction in medication as residents are calm and content.

This pioneering thinking uses a range of innovative and creative ideas that are tailored to an individual’s needs, medical background and their life story.

Joanne Hicks, Home Manager

Joanne Hicks, Home Manager

Jo qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2007 and has worked in nursing homes ever since. It has always been her desire to care for and support those who are moving in to the later stages of life and for those living with dementia. From working in a hospice providing palliative care, to creating and implementing a training package for overseas nurses, Jo has vast experience in the care industry and brings with her a fantastic work ethic with a person-centred approach to her role.

“The community is extremely important to me. I want Oldbury Grange to be known in the area for its outstanding care and its open door philosophy, we are here whenever someone needs us. I work closely with residents’ families to ensure everyone feels a part of the Morris Care family.”
