Joan Dyke, a resident at our Isle Court Nursing Home, has just celebrated her 105th birthday with all her friends at a special birthday high tea laid on in her honour.
Joan has lived at Isle Court since 2018 and all the staff and other residents have been excited about celebrating the incredible milestone.
Claire Harris, General Manager at the Home explained: “Joan is one of the most remarkable, intelligent and charming ladies I know. She is so mobile and sociable and a wonderful member of our family here at Isle Court. We all marvel at how good she is at jigsaws and she adores nothing more than listening to children sing at our high tea events. She really is a joy.”
Joan especially enjoyed cutting her birthday cake created by Chef Matthew and sharing it with her many friends at the beautiful nursing home which laid on a delicious birthday spread to celebrate.
