Farm animals fuel the fun at Corbrook Park

Morris Care’s Corbrook Park Nursing Home in Audlem, Cheshire, were recently treated to a Country Show themed afternoon in aid of St Luke’s Hospice.

Animals were at the forefront of the show with residents enjoying time with farm favourites including piglets, silkie chickens and rabbits. Residents were also treated to an exciting dog show that really kept the crowd entertained!

Whilst tucking into some delicious BBQ food, residents joined in with ‘The Singing Farmer’ who delivered some great entertainment for all. Vintage tractors and cars were also available for everyone to view, stimulating residents’ fond memories.

Tracey Williams, Social Life Coordinator at Corbrook Park explained why the residents enjoyed the themed event so much: “Our residents love the countryside and so it was a great day enjoyed by all. The sense of satisfaction we all feel when we have been able to bring something different to their schedule is brilliant.”

“We hold events throughout the year to entertain the residents and their families. It’s all part of our mission to continue delivering outstanding care.”

Corbrook Park, one of six Nursing Homes run by Morris Care in Shropshire and Cheshire, provides quality elderly care for up to 80 people, including specialist care for those living with dementia.
