This week we’ve been celebrating Carers Week at Morris Care! Carers Week is an annual initiative to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges carers face and recognising the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK.
Carers have a vital job in the care of residents throughout our homes, and form very special bonds with the people they look after. They are the day-to-day face of Morris Care, working directly with residents and families to ensure the very best quality care and support is given.
To thank them we teamed up with King Cone in Telford to deliver hundreds of ice creams to our carers and residents across our six care homes in Shropshire and Cheshire. From Biscoff delights to the traditional Mr Whippy, our Caring staff enjoyed their cool, sweet treats in style with our themed selfie boards! The week was a great success and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved.
