This week we are bidding a fond farewell to Liz Hallen, Home Manager of Isle Court Nursing Home, who is retiring after eight years at the helm.

Liz joined the company as Home Manager and was part of the commissioning team responsible for the redevelopment of the former country home in 2008. The Home welcomed its first resident in 2009 and Liz has been responsible for upholding Morris Care values and delivering the consistent standard for quality, resident centred care ever since.  

Liz’s tenacity and passion for establishing Isle Court as a leading Home in Shropshire saw her achieve many awards during her tenure and her involvement in the Home’s redevelopment was pivotal in Isle Court being selected as a finalist in the prestigious architect and design awards, Pinders, for which the Home entered the category of Best Extension or Restoration.

During her time with Morris Care, Liz provided invaluable support to the Home and the wider care team across all of our homes.  

The team at Isle Court and Welsh Bridge organised a farewell party for Liz before her final working day where they presented her with farewell gifts and shared stories about her time at the Home. We would like to wish Liz a happy retirement and say thank you for all her hard work over the years.

We will also be wishing a warm welcome to Roberto Tumaliuan who is stepping up from his role as Deputy Home Manager into the role of Home Manager at Isle Court.
