Read on to find out all about our care home night shift jobs

Working a night shift in a Morris Care Nursing Home is very different to working during the day. For some of our staff, night shifts are preferred. They find night shifts quieter and calmer but of course they don’t come without their ups and downs.

For our Night Owls, working the night shift is the best option to fit in with their lifestyle. Night shift jobs are very convenient and enable the team to get on with their everyday chores, from picking up the children from school to walking the dog.

Night shifts allow for independent working too, we know some people are more productive in a smaller team. Nursing homes are typically quieter at night time, although no shift is ever the same. There will of course be busy times whilst getting residents ready for bed and seeing to the early risers but because it is outside of visiting hours, staff working care home night shift jobs are able to get on with the jobs they may not get a chance to do during the day.
