Morris Care

Here in this beautiful Home, our wonderful team are renowned for giving person-centred care. We have a welcoming home from home feel at Stretton and my door is always open – for residents, families and my team alike.

I have been qualified since 1995 and my passion is to provide quality nursing care. My passions lie in ensuring our residents are treated with empathy, and also their loved ones with compassion and understanding. In my role as Clinical Deputy Manager, I hope to support and guide the team to achieve this goal.

My role as Bursar is to work closely with the team and to ensure the home is running effectively in all areas. I work with a range of individuals across Stretton Hall to make sure the team are happy and content in everything they do.

I believe that caring for every resident involves listening and finding out all about what makes that individual tick – their personal story. It is only then that we really connect and are able to give the best care and support just right for them.

Good nursing demands not simply medical knowledge and understanding, but a desire to genuinely help those in our charge. Our sole purpose here is to bring this quality of care to every resident, every day.

The joy of my job is helping residents to feel happy, content and engaged. I love listening to their wishes and ideas and then when I can, making them happen - seeing the joy that brings is priceless. This may be my job but it is also my privilege to help make a difference.
