The moment you walk into the spacious paneled reception lounge, you are met with a smile from Rachel on reception and the wonderful caring team who work tirelessly to make this feel like a genuine home from home.

Its uniqueness comes from the three different Courts within the centre, each delivering a different type of specialist care. Wellington Court provides complex disability care for all age groups. Wrekin Court cares for the elderly, including respite, convalescence and palliative care. Ercall Court is just a short walk along Holyhead Road and provides specialist dementia care.

At the Care Centre, the living rooms and dining areas are designed to meet the needs of the residents living in the different courts, with an open plan lounge and bright conservatories along with cosy, sociable areas. The gardens are accessible to enjoy with family and friends.

Our dedicated, well-trained and hard-working staff love to get to know you, learning about your favourite pastimes, food choices and we especially love to get to know your family. Wellington Court

We have many years of specialist experience providing complex nursing care and support at Wellington Court, from rehabilitation for those who have sustained a brain injury to nursing-led tracheostomy care. Following an assessment with a clinical nurse manager, you’ll be matched with a care team who have the right experience and personality to support you in your daily routine.

Ercall Court

Ercall Court is a cosy, specially designed Home, ideal if you are living with dementia. With just 11 bedrooms, each with individually coloured bedroom doors, non-reflective glass and other dementia friendly finishes, we understand the importance of promoting a sense of calm. It’s a real home from home with dignified care that respects the individual and ensures residents are able to continue living fulfilling lives.

Dedicated themed areas around the Home are designed to support those ‘walking with purpose’, stimulating interest and promoting happy memories. A sensory and relaxing Spa Room provides a therapeutic and enjoyable experience, with a specialist massage bathing system ideal for those with reduced postural control. Our care philosophy aims to reduce anxiety and stress and can lead to real therapeutic benefits.
