Birthdays may only happen once a year for most people, but at Morris Care Centre we really make the most of each celebration.
The last Friday of every month is a very important day for residents for one special reason – it’s Birthday Day. On Birthday Day we celebrate all those who were born in that month with a party featuring entertainment, special visitors and a photo board showing each resident. The celebrations give residents a regular event to look forward to and get involved with at the end of every month.
Our resident’s individual birthdays are celebrated with cake and cards on the day, but let’s face it, who wouldn’t want two birthdays?
These events form part of the busy social calendar at each home. They are carefully planned because we recognise the importance of social wellbeing and the impact that positive experiences can have on our residents. They mean our residents can spend time socialising in a relaxed and happy environment and form part of the personal care package that makes Morris Care so special.
We believe that a large part of providing quality care is about sharing quality experiences, which we offer across all of our homes in Shropshire and Cheshire.
