Amy Cleaver Care Supervisor - Stretton Hall

“My journey with Morris Care started in March 2016 when I joined the company as a Care Practitioner. I was previously working in domiciliary care but felt like I needed a slight change within the caring profession.

I first became interested in care from a young age when other family members worked in similar caring roles, I remember thinking that I wanted to be like them and look after people. After growing up in Spain, I moved back to the UK and studied health and social care at college before finding work in the industry.

When I first started, Morris Care provided me with all mandatory training and more recently I have completed mentorship training which has helped me to progress and become a Care Supervisor. I believe that if you are willing to work hard and take the opportunities available to you then you will succeed in your career.

Empathypatience and a good nature are the key foundations of making a good carer and combining these qualities with a friendly, rewarding and enjoyable company, you will create a recipe for success.”
